    The test consists of the following:

    • Introduction: Not scored, you will need to introduce yourself.
    • Part 1: Speaking & Writing (77-93 minutes).
    • Part 2: Reading (32-40 minutes).
    • Break: 10 minutes (optional).
    • Part 3: Listening (45-57 minutes).

    You don’t need special computer skills to take PTE Academic. You will need to use a “QWERTY” keyboard, a mouse, and a headset to complete the test.

  • Do I need to know a specific academic subject to take the test?

    No. PTE Academic is a test of your English abilities in academic settings. The test covers a range of subjects within the question content, but you are not assessed on these subjects.

  • What is PTE Academic UKVI?

    It is a test version for UK visa applicants.

  • What is the difference between PTE Academic and PTE Academic UKVI?

    There is no difference between the content and the scoring of the two tests. However, UKVI version has slight differences in the test registration process to support the visa application. Only UKVI version will provide you with a SELT Unique Reference Number (URN) which you will need for your visa application.

  • What is the acceptable ID for PTE Academic test?

    In most cases, this ID will usually be your valid passport.

    If you are taking the test outside your country of citizenship , a valid passport is the only acceptable form of ID.

    If you are taking the test in your country of citizenship , your passport is the preferred form of ID. If you don’t have a passport, you can present one of the following:

    • Valid, government-issued driver’s license
    • Military identification card
    • National identification card

  • How is the PTE Academic scored?

    All responses in PTE Academic are machine scored using unique automated scoring system. There are two types of scoring: correct or incorrect, and partial credit. For more details download the PTE Academic scoring guide .

  • Is PTE Academic home version accepted for immigration and study?

    Home version test is not accepted for immigration, however, for international students, you need to check with your university or educational institution if this version is accepted.

  • How is the PTE Academic Professional course delivered?

    It is delivered through nine live interactive classes via ZOOM.

  • What is the course delivery language?

    The course will be delivered in Arabic language.

  • Are the course live classes recorded?

    Yes. All classes will be recorded and shared right after each session ends.

  • What is the course ware?

    The course authors developed hands-on proven successful templates and effective study plan that can be tailored to meet the deadlines. A list of collocations is also provided as part of the course material resources.

  • What is the required English level to start the preparation course?

    It depends on your target. The higher the target, the higher English level required. In most cases, intermediate levels are suitable for all targets.

  • Are there any exam-like practice materials?

    Yes. The practice will be through APEUni platform, the best exam-like PTE Academic practice platform. 30 days of VIP subscription is provided as part of the course with no extra fees.

  • How is my progress being monitored and assessed?

    Our coaches will continuously assess your progress on the APEUni platform and provide constructive feedback on how to improve weaknesses and enhance strengths.

  • What is the communication channel?

    You will be added to the batch WhatsApp group where you can meet your fellow candidates and the coaches. All important announcements and feedback reports will be shared in the group.

  • What time is the live classes?

    All live classes start at 8:00 pm KSA time (+3:00 GMT).

  • How long is the course?

    The course is designed to be delivered through 9 interactive classes over three weeks, three days a week.

  • How long is the lesson duration?

    The lesson duration is typically between one and a half hours and two and half hours depending on the content of the lesson.
